2025 Christmas Mini Sessions

November 15th

November 22nd

This year, I am focusing on mini sessions in November for two reasons! One, to give you plenty of time to order your holiday cards and two, to try to beat the really cold December days that I’ve experienced at the tree farm in the past! However, I know for some, it’s not the holiday season until December 1st, so, if you really want a date in December, please let me know and we can make it happen!

**Anything booked after December 10th is subject to a holiday rush fee.

If November 15th or 22nd does not work for you, message/email me and we can look at additional dates.

Location: Mason, MI (exact location will be emailed)

Mini Session Information:

$250 (includes session and 5 photos of your choice) Your gallery will have a minimum of 25 photos to choose from.

You will have the option to purchase additional digitals as well as prints from your gallery.

Sessions are 20 minutes long (the perfect length for updated photos and families with littles)

Christmas Tree Farm Mini Sessions Information

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING

Outdoor Tree Farm:

These are timeless, yet festive, but can be hung year round! The trees speak for themselves and offer the most beautiful landscape for photos. These are perfect if you have energetic kiddos that are best captured exploring, running, and playing with mom and dad! There are a variety of posed and candid moments captured during this session!

Photos at the tree farm can be formal if you want to wear your best Christmas attire or they can be casual and accessorized with hats, scarves, coats, vests and more! The “vibe” of your session is really up to you!

For families that want more Christmas elements in their photos: I bring small festive props with me (think Christmas plaid blanket, a little red truck for younger kiddos, a small sled for kids to sit on, ornament for your little one to hold or put on a tree, & a Christmas book to cozy up and read).

Full Sessions:

  • If your immediate family is larger than 6 you will need to book back to back mini sessions for a full session.

  • Full sessions are $375 and 45 minutes in length and include 25 edited images. If your family is smaller than 6 but you want a full session, please book back to back mini sessions. If you do not see a back to back session option, reach out to me and I will coordinate a time that will work.

  • Full sessions are also most appropriate for families that have kiddos that may take a little longer to warm up to a new person or you feel like they may need additional time in order to get the shots that you are hoping for.

  • Yes!

    If your furry family member does well on a leash, they are invited to come along! Some families choose to take a few photos with their pet and then put them in the car for the remainder of the session!

  • I am more than happy to help!

    I help clients with this all the time and I am more than happy to help your family! I will send out an email with some tips on dressing for the tree farm!

  • One mini session spot is reserved for immediate family only!

    I totally understand why you are asking this question! I get this question often! Family is in town and you want to include them in photos! That is totally fine, but you must book two back to back sessions. The second session is a discounted rate!

  • For Tree Farm photos, you will have your proof gallery within 3 days of your session. You will have your final gallery within 5 days of sending me your final favorites list. You will have them in plenty of time to order Christmas cards!

  • Yes, you will receive a PROOF gallery. In that gallery, you will choose your favorites. Your session comes with 5 photos, any favorites past 5 you will have the option to purchase through your gallery.

  • Michigan in November is cold, but Michigan in December is even colder which is why I am only offering mini sessions this year in the middle of November! I have offered mini sessions in December and to be honest, it is SO COLD! So in an effort to be festive, but somewhat warm, I am offering minis earlier this year! If you want a December date, that is totally fine, we can make it work, just reach out to me and get your hot hands ready!
