Congratulations! Adding a new little one to the family is such a sweet time!

Lifestyle newborn sessions are meant to be joyful and capture the love between you and your newest addition.

There's a mix of directed & posed family photos, along with a lot of photos of cuddles and kisses. For sessions with siblings, play is a big component in our time together! Once you inquire about a newborn session, we will have a consultation and go over everything you need to know!

Lifestyle newborn sessions can be done in-home or in studio.

If you opt for studio, I utilize the Lansing Studio for all studio sessions. If you choose to use the studio a $60/hr rate is added to the price of the newborn session. This fee goes directly to the studio.

Please rest assured, that your home does not have to be “Instagram perfect” for us to achieve beautiful photos!

If you choose a studio session, the studio is rented by the hour. We will plan accordingly when selecting a time to ensure that baby has their belly full so we can jump right into our time together!

In-home sessions are typically 2-2.5 hours. This time accounts for feedings, diaper and outfit changes and sleepy snuggles. All sessions come with individual basket photos of the baby!

A session guide with outfit recommendations is emailed digitally at the time of booking. I provide a selection of swaddles and small props to use during the session!

I only take a limited number of newborn sessions per month, so as soon as you know that you want to book, please contact me for availability.

Sessions are $525 & includes the session fee and 40 edited, high resolution images of your choosing with print release. If you would like the entire gallery, the option to purchase all images will be available in your final gallery.

To support all family budgets, Kristen Gibson Photography offers clients the ability to pay in full or in installments. I am beyond excited to work with you!

You will receive a fully edited gallery within 21 days of your session. Your images are available for immediate download when you receive your gallery link. Print options are available through your gallery!
